Front Page Report (BB2, Gazette Correspondent): It was Wednesday morning when the Casa awoke to a new scandal: the Hermit herself reported a dream of missing shoes, a misplaced carriage, and hair long enough to trip the raccoon. The Feline Council immediately convened an emergency session, citing “potential footwear shortages” and “unregulated follicle growth.”

Weather Advisory: Damp mornings, gusty afternoons, and rising complaint levels. Hands and wrists ache across the Casa, prompting the issuance of “Support Gauntlets” to all Council members. Rosie refused hers, declaring, “I type better with raw suffering.”

Community Bulletin:

  • Phoebe has been promoted to Guardian of the Archive, after successfully sitting on the Restoration Log for three consecutive hours.

  • Sammy has been caught attempting to infiltrate the pantry again, citing “research purposes.”

  • The raccoon, still on probation, has applied for a new title: Shoe Retrieval Specialist. The Council remains skeptical.

Sidebar Scandal: The Porch (pen name: Plankton) has submitted a new haiku:

Lost shoe in the lot, Hair tangles in autumn wind, Council sighs again.

The Binder of Mascots & Mischief has already filed a complaint, arguing that footwear poetry falls under mascot jurisdiction.
